Peter J Farrell (one of the developers of mach-II) gave a presentation to the Scotish cfug last night via Breeze.
The presentation last for just over an hour with an interesting in-site to how it works.
If you missed the meeting or want to watch it again you can view it here : http://adobechats.adobe.acrobat.com/p29516302/
There was a poll run at the start of the event and the results are:
Being that it was a Mach-II presentation there is no surprise that that came out on top - what did surprise me was that fusebox 5 was only clicked by me?
If you want to know what's new in Mach II 1.1.1 view this recording.
Overall I feel that people can be a little overwhelmed by the idea of Mach-II but after this presentation I for one can say it doesn't look that daunting. Sure it's aimed at enterprise applications but theres no need not to use it on anything smaller. If you've not played about with it then download it now and give it a go - I'm sure you'll be surprised how quickly you can pick it up.

Peter did hint that version 1.5 with support multiple config files - a bit like MG:Unity.
One good link is for the mach-ii dev guide - which I hear is being updated.
