Help out Coldbox with 5 mins of your time

Luis has posted a quick blog post saying:

I just posted a survey so I can get the community more involved in the development of ColdBox. Please Click here to take survey

Even if you haven't used ColdBox, fill it out. I really appreciate your input as I always want ColdBox to be a Community Driven project. Your input is super valuable.

If you have 5 mins please help out - as Luis point out it's out chance (the community) to get involved.

Pimp my ColdBox - now with Flex/AIR Integration

Luis Majano has pushed the limits again of his Coldbox framework. This time Luis has been working on:

embedding a remote proxy into ColdBox in order to enable remote applications like Flex and AIR to communicate with ColdBox and provide an event model for our model...

This feature lets you create an event driven model that can easily be called from any flex/air application. Not only that, but you can reinitialize the entire application, get settings, and yes, announce custom or core interceptions. You can create custom interceptor chains for your model that can be executed asynchronously when a user hits a save record button for example. The possibilities are endless.

Coldbox
ColdBox is a proven event-driven CFC based ColdFusion Framework, specifically designed for high availability web applications. The purpose behind ColdBox was to create a fast & stable development methodology that could be shared among several developers. It makes use of an MVC (Model View Controller) design pattern implemented via CFC's. It uses event handler CFC's that hold all the code necessary to prepare views, call model CFC's or a business layer (Soap/ws/xml/J2EE) and render views (HTML).

Please look at the wiki for more up-to-date information and extensive documentation

You can look at the MVC Design Pattern diagram below:
