CFframeworks June round up


Slightly later than usual but here is a round up of all the ColdFusion related framewoorks news in June.


Sammy Larbi has released version 0.2.5 of the Cfrails frameworks. It includes a number of changes including Spry integration for form validation, improvements to database support and more documentation.


A busy month for Joe Rinehart who launched Model-Glue:Flex, described as "a conceptual port of Model-Glue implicit invocation framework to ActionScript 3 and Flex" and also version 2.0.304 of Model Glue.


Luis F. Majano celebrated the 4th of July (Yes I know this is the June update) by releasing a ColdBox dictionary to give you function and scope insight for CFEclipse, this rocks check it out.


Farcry 4.0.1 was officially released by Geoff Bowers and the Daemon team.


Russ Jhonson has created some very useful fusebox5 templates for Brian Rinaldi's Illudium code generator. There is also a handy screencast of it in action.


 


Speaking of Brian Rinaldi, in part2 of his series on Objects and compositions in CFCs he covers ColdSpring integration.


Another mention for Luis F. Majano who gives us yet more documentation for ColdBox.


Doug Boude shows us how to use Gobal ColdSpring Configuration beans.

At the end of May John Farrar released COOP along with a presentation at the Online ColdFusion Meetup group.


The Fusebox website has been relaunched with a Beta of Fusebox 5.5 due soon.


Finally Team Mach-ii have been assuring us not only is Mach-II not dead it is actually alive and kicking and if to prove the point they released a brand new website and version 1.5 (beta) of the framework.
