Novemeber End 2006 Frameworks Roundup
There is a lot of coldspring and Mach-II news in this round us. Coldspring appears to be getting adapted more and more by developers and with LiteWire giving chance Dependency Injection (DI) is becoming well know.
We have started interviewing some framework Gurus/reviews so watch this space.

Passing
Properties to ColdSpring
Dan Vega has recently posted on his blog a small tutorial of how to pass
properties to ColdSpring. Well worth a look to understand more benefits
that dependency injections brings to the table.
A recording of Barneys ColdSpring presentation on ColdSpring Ioc and AOP framework for ColdFusion. Barney has also blogged about his presentation and from it on his site. Download his my presentation files

Mach-II
1.1.1 - It's Alive... (Stable Release)
Mach-II 1.1.1 Stable has been released! It's
been a great release cycle since our last release a year ago. We're already
planning the new website and hope to have a beta of 1.5 when the website is
finished.
At the request of the Mach-ii guardians the former Mach-II category hosted on Fusebox.org forums has been set to read only in place of their new Google Group at http://groups.google.com/group/mach-ii-for-coldfusion
Peter Farrell has been kind enough to share 3 plugins he has developed: sslPlugin, maintenancePlugin and udfsPlugin. Check them out at the Exchange.
Trond Ulseth has written a Mach-II tutorial for Newbies and it's up on http://easycfm.com. It's a good article (though Trond mentions there were some corrections that didn't make it to the published version).

Model-Glue

resource pooling.
Unity
Backwards Compatibility Issues
Ray Camden highlights some changes in Unity that can cause applications written
in 1.1 to break when Unity is installed.
Unofficial
1.1 Patch
Nic Tunney has released a "patch" for Model-Glue 1.1 to allow it to support
an tag to allow you to break apart the config into usable pieces without
requiring absolute file system paths.
SOS [new framework]
John far has credited a new
framework called SOS
(Servant Oriented Software). He says that the " beauty of
a framework is that it uses the technology in a way that matches your
developing style and needs".
Again a lot of these notes have been take from the site of Brian Rinaldi.
